A downloadable game

Friday, December 17th, 2010. Christmas is just a week and a day away.

You are Darwin Huang, Asian American academic all-star, the envy of all of your cousins and your mother's pride and joy.

Your estranged mother's-friend's-son-and-by-transitive-property-childhood-friend, Albert Sun, is the concertmaster of the current 2010 season of the Ohio All State Orchestra, and an emo burnout with a 2.5 GPA.

Since he's crashed his car, you must take him and yourself to the All State Orchestra rehearsal down in Cincinnati. Just watch out for any gigantic Jesus statues or weed-pushing crust punks you might find along the side of I-75 South

On this road trip, you'll learn that relationships don't burn... they fade out.

Almost never play visual novels but this sucked me in immediately. To be honest, the stills didn't really sell me on this game but as soon as the audio kicked in I knew I was going to finish it. The story never drags, and each ending was satisfying in a different way (No "oh, i got the bad end let me go again to get the real ending" vibe). The voice acting is incredibly solid and well produced, and the music is a delight—I never noticed when it repeated despite being a whole song. Great work y'all!
